"The German VEGA firm will no longer ship to North America due to the desire to seek official registration for their medical devices (which necessitates immediate discontinuance of sales) and the fact that their larger parent company cannot take upon itself the liability aspects for unregistered medical devices.

Since their equipment is as of now unavailable in the United States and Canada, there is little need to continue introductory and intermediate level training at this time."

Thus, the May 6th and 7th, 1995 Level One VEGATEST seminar in Toronto, Canada with Dr. Alexander Wood was the last opportunity to learn intermediate diagnostics through Occidental Institute. OIRF's published VEGATEST workshop schedule for the rest of that year was then cancelled, and our obligation to continue basic VEGATEST training ended.
