MORA-Therapy

The following article by Walter D. Sturm, Ph.D., of the Occidental Institute Research Foundation staff, on the MORA-Therapy Unit was originally published in 1982 and revised September 2010. We publish this with the knowledge that we thus may alienate ourselves from manufacturers of homeopathics both here and abroad. However, in light of remedy import difficulties, the advantages of modern technology can no longer be withheld from the already sophisticated field of Electro-Acupuncture now rallying and gathering strength in this 'unhealthy' country.

HOW TO EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT TOO

Imagine a machine that could duplicate remedies or transfer them into the patient, so that you would only need one of everything and never again have to import any special remedies or nosodes. Your diagnostic Staufen KuF-Series boxes would last forever, as simply that--your diagnostic test set – when properly cared for. Similarly, for your test sets from Heel, Pascoe, Wala, etc. Anytime you found one or more 'nosodes' which suited your patient, you could conveniently place the determined potencies thereof in the input end of the instrument and at the output end the exact oscillations of these helpful remedies would be electronically transferred into the patient, even in an amplified state – with results comparable to actually taking the remedies. (Or, you can simply duplicate a copy of it for the patient to take home.) All this without affecting the nature or potency of your original test set remedy in any way. When the transfer is finished you can confidently return that ampule to the test set box, awaiting diagnostic use with the next applicable patient.

Medication testing has proven over the years that what we are dealing with is nothing more than electromagnetic waves or oscillations. We can conduct these oscillations through a wire cable from the plexiglass/brass honeycomb into the measurement circuit. One can even transmit these electromagnetic oscillations over substantial distances with a wireless sender and receiver set from the test selection ampule storage drawers into the measurement circuit, instead of using a honeycomb. All this is purely based on known electronic oscillation transmission principles. Even fine electromagnetic frequencies of vastly dilute homeopathic remedies can be conducted and transmitted in this manner.

The key to understanding what I am about to tell you lies in realizing that all processes of the organism are controlled by electromagnetic oscillations, and that these electromagnetic processes are super ordinate to the biochemical ones. Contraction of a disease by a person or one of that person's organs is preceded by disease-causing electromagnetic oscillations, which ultimately lead to the organism or the organ becoming afflicted. This is in contrast to the still widespread belief that the biochemical processes are the central cause of disease and that they generate the electromagnetic oscillations (or energy) as a side effect. In 1975 Dr. Franz Morell, working in conjunction with one of the foremost bio-electronic engineers in Germany, Mr. Erich Rasche, introduced the first so-called "MORA-Therapy Unit"
(MOrell + RAsche = MORA) to German practitioners. Simply stated, it is a therapy using the patient's own electromagnetic oscillations. The MORA-Therapy Unit does not just generate oscillations which are similar to those generated by the patient's organism, but instead actually uses the patient's own oscillations themselves for the therapy. In 1980, this therapy device was made available on a large scale in its second generation of development. Today, hundreds of German practitioners use this instrument in their daily practice. Since they do not have the problems we do here in North America of obtaining nosodes and special remedies, the "duplication" aspect of the MORA Unit is carefully underplayed in Germany, especially by the developers, manufacturer and sales agents of that instrument.

Along this line however, the Germans do use it extensively for what is termed "individualizing" the patient's medications. This involves transferring certain aspects of the patient's own oscillations into the immediately administered or take home medication (e.g., from the patient's blood, urine, or secretions), or, on the basis of anti-allergenic type therapy, and so forth. By thus 'individualizing' the patient's medications they become more effective, and the number of subsequent treatments can be greatly reduced.

The instrument does more than just that. Using a complex system of electronic filtering it is able to separate the healthy oscillations from the un-healthy ones out of the patient's total frequency spectrum. In effect, it separates the pathological frequencies from the physiological ones. This filtering mechanism has been amply proven through medication testing techniques involving both helpful and harmful ones, including carcinogenics. The patient's pathological oscillations are inverted electronically, and then serve as corrective or therapeutic oscillations when introduced back into the body, since this 'exact reversal' process effectively eliminates these pathological oscillations.

By choice, this can be accompanied by the physiological component of the patient's total oscillation spectrum. Both can also be amplified tenfold by the instrument during the process of output transmission back into the patient. Bear in mind that all this takes place continuously in a fraction of a second, with only ever increasingly healthy components and information (electromagnetic oscillations) reaching the patient during the therapy.

Extensive statistical analysis of medication testing data has shown that a basic course of therapy with the MORA-Therapy Unit prior to Electro-Acupuncture evaluation of the points, will eliminate up to eighty percent of the patient's disharmonious readings. That is, it effects a substantial change towards normal ("50" for GEA) in up to eighty percent of the pathological reading points. This saves the Electro-Acupuncture practitioner an enormous amount of work in subsequent point balancing actions on the remaining pathologically indicative points. Without the basic therapy step, too much time is wasted trying to nail down the actual underlying pathology out of that initial chaos of point readings. The remaining out of balance points can then be brought back to normal range with the usual point treatment or medication testing techniques. Implications in the area of determined medications have already been discussed. This basic therapy procedure alone has offered many busy practitioners in Germany viable therapeutic measures, in a daily practice environment. After all, how many Electro-Acupuncturists are able to effectively handle up to eighty percent of all out of balance point readings in any given short therapy session?

This instrument also enables more specific interventions. For example, pathologic oscillations can be led from particular organ/tissue system points into the input of the MORA-Therapy Unit, simply by using a point electrode as the pick-up source rather than the usual hand-held electrode (which now becomes the output electrode for leading processed oscillations back into the patient). Or instead, by using two point electrodes, the therapeutically processed output oscillations can be delivered back into yet another selected point(s). This has vast possibilities for those using traditional acupuncture energy exchange rules such as those of Five Element Theory. A roller stroked over say a painful area can be used for gathering input oscillations. An insulated cup electrode can be used to input information from the patient's own blood, urine or other physiological/pathological secretions into the device, which are then appropriately modified and therapeutically transferred back into the patient to effect the healing process. There are even special models of the MORA-Therapy device for dental practitioners. The possibilities for specific therapy are infinite, bounded only by the imagination and clinical repertoire of the practitioner. There is more . . .

Think of it. The instrument is taking the energetic output information of the body, processing it, amplifying the desired components, and re-introducing back into the body exactly that energetic information it needs to assist itself in returning toward a state of normalcy. Over the course of a few minutes of therapy this process happens again and again thousands of times, but because of the separation and inversion of the pathological frequencies, each time this process takes place the body is given more healthy information and less of the un-healthy components to work with. Isn't that exactly what we are trying to do with homeopathic remedies? Give the patient the required remedy and potency thereof (i.e., electromagnetic oscillation information) in therapy, either as med-tested remedies or as the simillimum. Then in subsequent Electro-Acupuncture treatments the potency or remedy is appropriately modified (new oscillation information). Of course, one could ask, if that is what is happening with this machine, why do we need medications at all? Quite frankly, the reply informed German practitioners give is that for a significant percentage of patients we do not need any medications. It is the real problem cases that several MORA-Therapy sessions cannot handle for whom we need that extra electromagnetic information from appropriate remedies, nosodes and/or organ preparations.

You know, when I first heard about the MORA-Therapy Unit [1979], I was very skeptical indeed, especially since it was priced around the cost of a new sub-compact car. It took three presentations by Dr. Hartwig Schuldt at his seminars here for me to even begin fathoming it; and then several trips to Germany (plus a comprehensive hands-on session in its usage) to convince me of some of the claims being made for it. Were it not for the flawless reputation and decades of Electro-Acupuncture experience of its co-inventor, Dr. Franz Morell, I probably would still consider it as some kind of gimmick. Having retraced his career in the German language Electro-Acupuncture literature as far back as is possible, I will say that we have in Dr. Morell another true genius of the same order as the most famous name in Electro-Acupuncture, Dr. Voll. It is no wonder at all to me that Dr. Morell could have conceived of, developed, and refined, an instrument of this magnitude. But, it finally took the comments and experiences of practitioners utilizing this device daily in their practices (both in Germany and now right here in North America) for me to be really sold on it. Sold on it to the point where I can dare tell you, our affiliates (and GEA friends) about it.

There is lots more I could say about it. Too much more. For those of you with the foresight to truly understand what I have already told you about that instrument, and its space-age therapeutic ramifications, I have already said enough. Those who remain skeptical (and I do not blame them at all!), it would take reams and reams of documentation to convince, which is not the intention of this brief introductory article. Rest assured though, you will be hearing much more about it in years to come. Already it has made a tremendous impact on orthodox medicine in Germany, one of the countries that taught us modern medicine as we now know it. It usually takes a few years for revolutionary conceptual and technological advances to spread internationally through orthodox channels, but I am certain its day will come. Why? Because of medicine's fascination with modern technology, especially devices that require few manual operative skills (as opposed to Electro-Acupuncture measurements, for instance). So, all that skeptics have to do is simply wait – and likewise for their patients.

I can tell you that this instrument exists and is available right now. And, it is not some sort of radionics device, like a 'Well-to-Well' potency preparer which ruins the potency of your input homeopathics, rendering them useless for accurate future diagnostic testing. [But on the other hand the MORA Unit cannot create higher or lower potencies from the input sample.] The MORA-Therapy Unit is solidly based on sophisticated modern technology – after all, we have the ability to put men in outer space; why shouldn't concerted effort in the field of biofeedback and bioelectronics be able to look after the physics of inner space? I can also tell you that the man who conceived and refined this instrument, based on over 25 years of experience in the practice of Electro-Acupuncture and biological medicine, Dr. Franz Morell, is also 'for real'.

What more can I say? I have told you a little bit about the MORA-Therapy Unit and Dr. Morell, although I could go on and on about both of them. In line with the title of this article (from a Robert Heath poem) I close with the words of Marie Antoinette's famous solution to the French bread famine: "LET THEM EAT CAKE".
