Here is a
brief outline of our planned schedule Sunday (Nov. 2): Tour delegates meet at our Munich airport hotel this evening for an informal welcome reception. Most North Americans have to leave on Saturday to get to Germany on Sunday, due to North Atlantic flight schedules and losing time zones. Because participants join us from all over the world, everyone makes their own airline arrangements. Monday (Nov. 3): Our deluxe motor coach takes us from Munich to Baden-Baden. In the afternoon you have your first chance to attack the stands at Medicine Week. Tuesday (Nov. 4): A presentation from Dr. Frank Beck and Mr. Harold Becker from Advanced Medical Systems (magnetic field therapy) right in a meeting room of our hotel. In the afternoon a short journey to Friesenheim to visit the Med-Tronik manufacturing plant and get a short lecture on MORA Therapy (we have asked for information on smoking cessation and Dr. Zenon Gruba’s pain therapy) from Dr. Uwe Uellendahl in their beautiful seminar room. Wednesday (Nov. 5): The whole day at Medicine Week. I hope you have lots of room in your suitcases for the bags of information and samples you will get today. Or, in the afternoon some escape to the famous Baden-Baden baths – or, some “retail therapy”. Thursday (Nov. 6): A presentation by Dr. Bettina Wöhrle from AMSAT-HC on their Global Diagnostics unit. In the afternoon our deluxe motor coach will bring us back to our Munich airport hotel (that evening a chance to rest – or – to get together for a good German beer!) Friday (Nov. 7): This will be a fun day. In the morning we travel a short distance south of Munich to visit a specialized natural medicine clinic. Then in the afternoon a bus tour of this fabulous Bavarian city and a chance to roam around on your own for awhile.
Saturday
(Nov. 8): This is
the big day. A full day with Dr.med. Univ. Ivan Engler.
Please see the below for Dr. Engler’s astounding resume. This day alone will be
worth the cost of the tour! He is a dynamic speaker who is anxious to tell us
about the research on Inhaled Ionized Oxygen he has completed over the past
three years. Mr. Christian Schörghofer from CSTronik
(Oxygen Ion 3000 unit) will also make a short presentation today. Sunday (Nov. 9): Fly home from Munich anytime today if you wish, and North Americans even get home the same day due to gaining time zones. All the above presentations are confirmed at this time, but of course once the Tour is underway there is little we can do about the actual events unfolding (like a speaker not showing up due to illness, slow meal service delaying us for our next event, traffic jams, etc.). But, this is most likely how this Tour will take place.
The “Session of the Week” OIRF is once again very proud to present Dr. med. Univ. Ivan Engler for our 35th Group Tour to Germany . . .

A few (small) words from the Director: This tour package is an inclusive custom-tailored guided medical tour for medical professionals, so you are assured of like-minded companions who share your interest in biological and alternative medicine. Although we do not include airfare in these packages, we do include most meals, single room accommodations, all tour transportation and all educational programs. In other words, you will not be abandoned outside the McDonalds and told to have a “nice evening” and you will not be asked to pay more for extra tours and programs! CLWS
The fine print concerning this Germany Tour Program TOUR PRICE: Full Germany Tour with “Med-Week” Program cost is estimated at Canadian $3,095 per person, with seven nights hotel accommodation Sunday through Saturday in a shared (twin) room [single room supplement CDN $300]. All but three meals from Monday through Saturday [beverages not included]; tour group transportation in Germany; speaker honorariums; the English language program in Germany as outlined herein; plus all our work and effort in organizing it. This does not include airfare to and from Germany, for which you make your own ticketing arrangements. AIRLINE ARRANGEMENTS: We suggest you fly into Munich and fly home from Munich (tour transportation in between). Call a travel agent! Ticket payment is usually required fourteen to twenty-one days in advance, but make airline reservation as far ahead as possible for lowest fare and desired flight dates. DEPOSIT: To guarantee a place on the Tour Program an $595 CDN per person deposit is required by bank draft, cashiers check, money order, or VISA/MasterCard credit card only. Make funds payable to “Occidental Institute Research Foundation”. Deposit is 50% refundable prior to Aug. 29, 2008 and is non-refundable after that date. PAYMENT TERMS: The balance must be received at OIRF no later than three weeks before tour start date, and thus on or before Friday October 10th! Payment by bank draft, cashiers check or money order only; it may also be paid by VISA/MasterCard credit card with a surcharge, since the tour balance is a cash price. Make funds payable to “Occidental Institute Research Foundation”. Failure to pay balance by deadline forfeits your place on the tour, without recourse. NOTES: The Tour Program is restricted to OIRF Research Associates plus one assistant or spouse (sorry no spousal discounts), and is limited to a maximum of twenty-five participants. The program and presentations are subject to change, given circumstances beyond our control. Special dietary requirements like vegan or kosher are not available. Tour Participation Certificate with only four mandatory sessions. Tour and airline expenses may be tax deductible for medical professionals or as a legitimate business trip for U.S. residents. Tour price has been based on a high Euro to Dollar exchange rate. Any increase or decrease due to exchange fluctuation will be passed on to the participants. TOUR SPONSOR: Occidental Institute Research Foundation (OIRF) is an International nonprofit, incorporated [British Columbia, Canada] Society for practitioners of biological medicine. Founded in 1972, OIRF serves as an information and technology bridge between certain aspects of German Biological Medicine and English speaking practitioners worldwide. This will be our 35th Tour to Germany with a delegation of members (Research Associates).
