 INFORMATIONAL UPDATE

June 27, 2008

  • Special AMSAT training seminar completed

  • Germany Tour #35 lectures expanded

  • And, a few updates and reminders . . .

Friday June 27, 2008

Dear Members and Colleagues:

?   Summer has arrived in our beautiful Okanagan Valley and already the busy tourist season is upon us. During the AMSAT seminar last weekend, we were treated to a phenomenal car rally of over 600 antique and muscle cars (I will admit I almost drooled over a particular lime green 1969 Dodge Roadrunner) and this coming weekend more than 30 Elvis tribute artists descend upon us for three days of competition, music and entertainment. Combined with our mountains, beaches and hot sunny weather, I truly think we live in paradise!

But all of that aside, here is the promised end of June update. This will be an informal e-mail announcement only and will be posted on our website shortly – to save us some time and money during the busy summer months.

The AMSAT Seminar

The AMSAT seminar last weekend was a great success. This meeting was co-sponsored by the Holistic Concepts Company from Germany and Occidental Institute. Everyone who attended was very impressed the instruction from Dr. Frank Blomeyer and especially with the instrumentation. Mr. Peter Thurmann, the managing director of Holistic Concepts, was very pleased with the seminar and has already advised us that they hope to make this an annual event – Yeah!!

But, what a device this is! I was already impressed with the quality and capability of the unit, and now I am literally blown away to see the scope of its application. We started out with one skeptic in the “crowd”, and even he left on Saturday afternoon with a great smile on his face. At this point I see three very important qualities that I haven’t mentioned to you previously:

1)     This device is completely delegable to your assistants – they can run the tests and you can pull the analysis up on your computer screen later to do the assessment

2)     Under most circumstances this assessment is completely reproducible – even in a hotel meeting room with virtually every possible difficulty (lighting, electrical interference, electrosmog, changes in the patient from day to day, and so on). This is where our skeptic came in. We ran an assessment on one doctor Friday afternoon, and then at the skeptic’s request we ran the test again on Saturday morning (after the festive dinner on Friday evening). Guess what? The results were remarkably “the same”

3)     And, most importantly this device is objective! Similar to the old decoder dermograph, SEG and DFM devices, here we have a global assessment that cannot be influenced by either the patient or the practitioner. The readings are done quickly and efficiently after application of the six electrodes (2 forehead, 2 hand and 2 foot) and within a minute and a half you have a complete, reproducible and in depth assessment of the patient.

Literally test after test, we watched Dr. Blomeyer analyze the results of the tests and come to conclusions about the patient that were highly accurate – without any prior histories or interviews. Amazing! Dr. Blomeyer has worked with the AMSAT for about four years and his experience and gentle teaching approach was a highlight of the seminar.

All of us at the Institute (Elaine and Esther and I) send our sincere thanks to the Holistic Concepts Company, Mr. Thurmann and Dr. Blomeyer for their cooperation and sponsorship of this great seminar. Also, our thanks go out to the many who attended. Some of the pictures will be posted on the website. Attendees were from Australia, Louisiana, Ohio, Ontario and several other states and provinces. We all had a good time and learned a LOT!

Concerning the financial aspects – we are still holding the lowered pricing at the June exchange rates. So far, so good and we will hold here as long as possible. Thus the price of the AMSAT right now is CDN $22,555. This includes estimated shipping, but does not include importation fees. Call Elaine or Carolyn today for ordering details. Delivery time right now is about 2 weeks from our receipt of your order. Follow this link for more details on the device itself www.oirf.com/recinstr/AMSAT.html

The Germany Tour

In regard to Germany Tour #35, I remind you that the theme for this program is “Instrumental Methods for Natural Healing and Diagnostics”. To this we can now add “with an emphasis on cancer” as the following three presentations have been confirmed. This will be a busy tour program but an excellent opportunity for participants to make contacts with the various instrumentation and remedy companies – and enjoy some good Germany hospitality.

1) We had a chance to discuss the AMSAT portion of the tour program while Mr. Thurmann and Dr. Blomeyer were here. Their session will feature Dr. Blomeyer and possibly also Dr. Bettina Wöhrle. They have agreed to focus on the assessment of cancer – please understand however that this device will never diagnose a specific disease (i.e. you have cancer, or you have diabetes, and so on). Instead it will lead you to the underlying causes of the existing (or imminent) disorder and indicate how to approach therapy. [What more could we ask?]

2) Then, in the meanwhile we have been advised by the SANUM Company that they are sponsoring a full day English language seminar featuring Camilla Fischer, ND; Hester Ladewig, ND; and, Thomas Rau, MD. Topics will include SANUM Therapy for diseases of the cardiovascular system (hypo- and hyper- tension, cardiac insufficiency, cardiomyopathy, coronary heart disease and hypercholesteraemia), holistic treatment of fibromyalgia and aspects of biological cancer therapy. Wow!

This is a super program and we send thanks to SANUM for inviting our group to attend. The only drawback to participating in this program is that it is in Baden-Baden on our first day, Monday, November 3, 2008. This means that we will have to leave Munich very early (in spite of jet lag, but at least you can sleep on the bus!) to get there. I’m still working out the logistics of the transportation and lunch and so on, but I think it will work out. This is too important for us to miss, and is a gracious invitation from SANUM.

And “thirdly” our visit to the big clinic south of Munich has now been confirmed. The doctor who is the “head honcho” of this facility (in our American terminology this equals a rather large private hospital) is not only the Medical Director specializing in Internal Medicine but is also the president of the alternative Cancer Conference that will take place at Medicine Week in Baden-Baden. We will have the opportunity for a short tour of this hospital and then he has personally offered to discuss their integrative cancer treatment program and show us all the relevant therapies they are using. As always with such busy people, this visit has been complicated to arrange, but I know in the end it will be well worth the effort.

So, I once again send our invitation to join us for this exciting 35th Germany Tour Program. Please follow this link to find all the registration and cost details www.oirf.com/Tours/Germany35.html

A Few Announcements

The Institute will be open throughout the summer months and there will be someone here to take your calls and e-mails each business day. Esther has already taken a few weeks off for a holiday to Las Vegas and some local fishing. Elaine and her daughter will be away visiting family in Ontario from July 30 to August 11. Personally, my Mom and I will be away for a family reunion from June 27 through July 10. I send our wishes that all of you can also spend time with your families and have a fun filled and relaxing summer season.

We are already at work on the fall issue of the newsletter that will feature a translation of the third article by Prof. Dr. Ivan Engler on Inhaled Ionized Oxygen, articles from our Board of Advisor members Dr. Karim Dhanani and Dr. Anthony Scott-Morley, as well as a number of interesting FAQ’s, Points of Interest and websites that have been accumulating on my desk.

Well, that about covers the updates and news for our June general information release. We’ll be back to you with another e-mail/website informational release towards the end of July. Have a great summer, and with best wishes from all of us here at the Institute . . .
