Wednesday, February 20, 2008

Dear Prospective Member:

?    Once again, Happy New Year and welcome to your first issue of “The Bridge” for 2008 – oops! I am sorry, but that fantastic issue is not enclosed. Did you forget to send us your application or renewal form? At any rate, as of publication date your membership application has not been received. Here is a quick summary of what you are missing. Send us your application today and we will make sure to get your copy out to you ASAP.

In this Issue you will find articles by Dr. Simon Yu (on parasites and allergies) and Dr. Sir Zenon Gruba (with some long promised detail on his MORA Color Therapy for pain). Next Issue will feature articles by Dr. Brian L. Mac Coy (on magnetic field therapy experiences) and Dr. Chris Bonnemort (on Atma Oils). As well I have included a few articles and items that I translated mostly from the German journals.

This time there is a Part II supplement with descriptive information on the new instrumentation that OIRF is introducing. You will find brief descriptions enclosed. See the website for more details. All in all, it is a very full and very informative issue.

?    Please visit our website (or call Elaine for a printed copy) to find a listing of the 2008 Occidental Institute Board of Directors and the Boards of Advisors. Representing so much experience and knowledge we are very honored this year to be joined by such outstanding practitioners. Their expertise will guide us through this New Year.

?    I truly wish I had more space in this general mailing to tell you about the instrumentation that OIRF has recently introduced. But, you will have to refer to Volume 3, Issue #6 of “The Bridge” and my FAQ’s column in Volume 4, Issue #1 for my further comments. Once again we have access to true magnetic field therapy (from Advanced Medical Systems) as well as two models of a great hand held laser (from PowerMedic). The lasers are even FDA registered! With this Issue please see details on the new global diagnostic device called the AMSAT-HC (FDA registered) and the new water regeneration device called the AQA 707 (both are manufactured by Medical Electronics – maker of the BioPhoton devices). Be sure to take a look at the information enclosed and I am confident you can add at least one of them onto your 2008 instrumentation wish list.

In regard to the AQA 707, Mr. Dieter Jossner wrote a fantastic article about water. He claims he was just promoting the device, but the article is extremely informative. For this Issue I translated the whole thing from German and it appears in the Part II Supplement. The pictures are in black and white (sorry, we do not have a big fancy color copier) but you will get the idea. “Soon” we will get it posted on the website at www.oirf.com and you can see everything in color there.

?    Germany Tour #35 dates have been set! Mark these dates on your seminar calendar now. You can fly into and out of Munich and we will provide all transportation and accommodation in between. The dates are November 2 through November 9, 2008 (you can fly home on Sunday the 9th). In the past one of the complaints about our Tours was the price. And yes, they are expensive. So, to try and reduce the price this year (in spite of the ever increasing value of the Euro) we are planning a “not quite” full service program (shared accommodation, fewer included meals, etc.) that will drop the end tuition price by around $500.

Prof. Dr. Ivan Engler has already been confirmed and will speak to our group about his latest research and developments on Inhaled Ionized Oxygen. Hopefully Mr. Christian Schörghofer from MSS Electronic (manufacturer of the MSS Oxygen Ion 3000 and the VNS 3000) will be able to join him.

We have invitations out to a number of other speakers and expect to include a visit to the Med-Tronik Company to see their manufacturing and teaching facility, a visit to a natural clinic, a presentation from a pharmacy, one day at the Medicine Week – already that is more to do than we have days but I will have more confirmed details for you by the time Issue #2 is sent out (mid-April). You can’t say I didn’t give you advance notice for this one!

?    I (Carolyn) will be traveling to Germany during mid-March to attend the annual MORA distributors meeting at the Med-Tronik plant in Friesenheim. I always come home so inspired by these meetings after hearing how MORA is being used around the world in so many innovative and effective ways.

I am hoping to hear more about how the two research groups (Turkey and Hungary) have been doing with their “anti-smoking” procedures. From our experiences here with staff and family members, it is virtually 100% effective in terms of the physical addiction – with only one treatment! Combined with counseling and support for the psychological aspects success rates are truly astounding. We are preparing a report on this for publication later in the year.

At any rate I will be away from the office March 10 through 18. Elaine and Esther will be here to handle your orders and questions and can contact me if necessary.

?    And now for more news about the PRT. Just today we finally received further communication from Mrs. Aina Sylvester-Schimmel. The new Resolux Foundation is currently very busy with registration of the Resoplex combination remedies in Germany. They are a bit overwhelmed with this long and complicated process, and have decided that they will not be able to make the Photon Resonance Test devices available for at least another month to six weeks.

In one sense this is good news. We are once again in communication with them and they are being honest in saying they are not yet ready to accept orders. Those of you who have been waiting to place your orders, I have to ask you to be just a little more patient. I feel confident that we will soon be able to obtain these great diagnostic devices.

?    Updates and Reminders

Ø  The 2008 instrumentation price lists are now available. Exchange rates are so volatile at the present time that pricing is also changing constantly. Call Elaine or Carolyn at 800-663-8342 for current listings.

Ø  Med-Tronik is sponsoring a four day MORA training program in Friesenheim, Germany with Dr. Uwe Uellendahl, March 11-14, 2008. Contact Mrs. Gaby Alexander at gaby.alexander@med-tronik.de to register.

Ø  Office will be open and Elaine and Esther will be here to take care of your orders and phone calls, but Carolyn will not be in the office March 10-18 (for Med-Tronik Distributor’s meeting) and May 12-20 (for personal study).

Ø  Dr. Simon Yu is making arrangements to bring Dr. Uwe Uellandahl to his practice in St. Louis, Missouri for a two-day hands-on practical MORA training session. Tentative timing for this “mini camp training” is late spring or early summer. His goal is to get training for his staff, but of course if anyone else is interested in participating they can contact Simon at simonyumd@aol.com for dates, times and expenses to help him defray costs.

?    Here’s a good chuckle to end this letter, and with all best wishes, I respectfully remain . . .

Carolyn

A man feared his wife was not hearing as well as she used to, and he thought she might need a hearing aid.

Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family doctor to discuss the problem.

The doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the doctor a better idea about her hearing loss. “Here’s what you do,” said the doctor. “Stand about 40 feet away from her and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you. If not go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response.”

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, “I’m about 40 feet away. Let’s see what happens.”

In a normal tone he asks, “Honey, what’s for dinner?” No response. So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife, and repeats “Honey, what’s for dinner?” Still no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, “Honey, what’s for dinner?” Again, no response. So, he walks up the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. “Honey, what’s for dinner?” Again, there is no response. So he walks up behind her – “Honey, what’s for dinner?”

(You’ve got to love this . . .) “For Pete’s Sake, Earl, for the 5th time, CHICKEN!!”
